Mark The Rich, rich only in materialistic terms, unwittingly gives Vassili the journey of a lifetime as he tries and fails to steer Vassili away from his destiny. By doing so, Vassili is allowed to converse with talking trees, walk upon whale bridges and fool a serpent king.
